About the Opportunity:
We’re looking for a commercially astute Commercial Analyst to join our ANZ team, partnering closely with leaders to shape decisions that drive performance and sustainable growth across SilverChef.
In this role, you’ll deliver insight‑led analysis and financial modelling that goes beyond reporting. You will help leaders understand key revenue, margin and cost drivers, challenge assumptions, and translate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendations that influence commercial outcomes.
This role suits an analyst who enjoys working close to the business, thrives in ambiguity, and wants to have meaningful impact on decision‑making in a dynamic commercial environment.
Your key contributions include:
- Partnering with stakeholders to provide commercial insights that inform decision‑making and performance outcomes
- Delivering regular and ad hoc analysis and reporting, turning data into actionable recommendations
- Analysing revenue, margin and cost drivers to identify performance improvement opportunities
- Supporting the development of budgets, rolling forecasts and financial models aligned to business priorities
- Conducting trend analysis and scenario modelling to support strategic planning and investment decisions
- Strengthening commercial discipline and governance, identifying opportunities to improve financial rigour
- Collaborating cross‑functionally on commercial initiatives and continuous improvement activities
What You’ll Need to Succeed:
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a Commercial Analyst or Financial Analyst role
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial data into practical commercial insights
- Strong analytical capability, including confidence working with large or complex data sets
- Proven stakeholder engagement skills, with the confidence to challenge constructively and influence outcomes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate across functions
- Experience with Power BI or similar analytics tools (highly desirable)
- Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Business or a related field (CA/CPA desirable but not essential)
