About this opportunity

The purpose of the Local Area Marketing Coordinator is to facilitate the day-to-day operations of the ANZ marketing plans, with a specific focus to increase engagement across the dealer and partner network. The role also supports the Business Partner ANZ and our sales functions to deliver tasks, events, trade shows, liaising with external agencies and supporting tactical initiatives.

Your key contributions in this role, include:

  1. Planning and execution of the annual events calendar for ANZ including local area events and trade shows.
  2. Support the implementation of local area marketing strategies and promotions in line with organisational priorities.
  3. Provide support to channel owners and key stakeholders as the internal marketing production agency for the: 
    • Creation of assets for dealer and partner network
    • Communication of promotional activities for dealer network
  4. Liaise with external agencies to develop marketing material to assist in partner marketing programs including BAU work and tactical initiatives.
  5. Support the broader marketing and campaign plan for ANZ region and coordinate activity to drive organisational growth objectives.
  6. Ensure effective tracking of Key Account Manager requests and support the coordination of deliverables adhering to budgets and brand guidelines.

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or subject matter experience
  • Minimum 12 months’ experience in a marketing role or discipline
  • Strong skills in time management with the ability to prioritise and complete tasks with accuracy, to budget and to deadlines
  • Experience coordinating events like tradeshows or corporate events is desirable but not essential.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook)
  • Critical thinking skills to recommend original and productive ideas
  • Exceptional written and spoken communicator with the ability to prepare performance reports, presentations and marketing communications
  • Interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various stakeholders and marketing channel owners
  • Exposure to tradeshows and events advantageous
